Chef Lauren Reneau, of South Mecklenburg High School, was named this year’s NC ProStart Educator of Excellence. This award recognizes ProStart educators who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom and exceptional dedication to the ProStart program.
Lauren’s commitment to our academic community shows no sign of limitation. Evident in her efforts leading up to the competition as she helped prepare both a culinary and management team to compete at her very first NC ProStart Invitational and won first place in both.
