Independence students had a big showing in CTE month. Six Independence students participated in the SkillsUSA Southwest Regional Rally Carpentry Competition and represented both their school and district in an amazing way. All six competitors were competitive in their events. Three placed in their events!

CTE is so proud of the students and their advisor, Keith Olson. We salute the students and Mr. Olson for their hard work and dedication to the trades. Up next, is the SkillsUSA State Conference in April where the students will have the opportunity to qualify for the national competition. Congratulations to the Independence HS SkillsUSA team!
