We are so excited to usher in a new year, primed for new opportunities in CTE. Before we begin our 2nd semester, we wanted to recap a few amazing things that our CTE students accomplished in 2024! Here’s to more growth, opportunity, and experiences in CTE!
*NWSA, William Jenkins, did an amazing job on the exam, scoring a 952 in his Adobe Photoshop Professional Certification.
*DECA students from across the district had an amazing Regional competition and are preparing for states!
*Food & Nutrition I & II students at Hopewell HS hosted a spectacular event where parents, family members, and community visitors were invited to taste the delicious dishes created by the students throughout the semester. This event not only showcased the students’ culinary skills but also highlighted their ability to plan, execute, and deliver a memorable dining experience.
*TSA students from Ardrey Kell HS excelled at their National competition by bringing home 2nd and 3rd place finishes!!
*Aiden Holsinger made the top 25 in the nation in PowerPoint at the MOS Championship. He is a student at Independence HS.
