In this pathway, you learn fundamental marketing principles while developing comprehensive marketing plans through customer needs analysis and market environment research. You explore product development, pricing strategies, advertising, promotion planning, and distribution methods. You also study market research techniques and consumer behavior. This pathway prepares you for industry certifications and careers in marketing, advertising, and business development.

CPCC ARTICULATED CREDIT

Articulated credit is earned as a result of a student passing the designated CMS CTE course(s) with a final letter grade of a B or higher AND a score of 93 or higher on the NC administered end of course exam. In some cases students must show proficiency in multiple courses plus a certification in order to receive articulated credit. In some cases, there are options. Be sure to pay attention to the AND and OR statements. College articulated courses DO NOT show on a high school or college transcript. These courses, if the criteria is met, will be waived from the applicable program of study through Central Piedmont Community College.

This certification validates skills in developing and implementing effective social media marketing strategies across digital platforms.

Business of Retail Certified Specialist

This training equips students with advanced knowledge in store operations, merchandising, marketing, and retail management while understanding profit models, regulations, and career planning in retail.
