All Pathways

In this pathway, you study human anatomy, physiology, diseases, and biomedical therapies while exploring healthcare careers within body systems. You learn healthcare financing, wellness fundamentals, legal and ethical issues, and effective communication skills. You also develop hands-on healthcare skills including CPR and first aid training.

Industry Certification

First Aid

This training teaches participants to recognize and respond to common first aid emergencies.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR/AED

This course trains participants to recognize life-threatening emergencies and provide high-quality chest compressions, ventilations, and AED use.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety and Health

This interactive online program teaches young workers about workplace rights, responsibilities, and safety practices to protect themselves and others from occupational hazards.

Stop the Bleed

This lifesaving training teaches three quick actions to control bleeding, the number one cause of preventable death after injury.

North Carolina Nurse Aide I

This certification provides necessary training for students to take the competency evaluation and become listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry.
