Elijah Watson at Ranson IB Middle has chosen to nominate Medical Detectives teacher, Rodriques Clark to be celebrated during CTE month. Mr. Watson shares: ‘there are numerous reasons why I recommend Mr. Clark; however, the most important reason is that he lives a life of service to help his scholars and colleagues. The first day I met Mr. Clark, I knew he would be an exceptional CTE teacher. Mr. Clark teaches Medical Detectives, Careers and Employment, and Computer Science Discovery. He has excellent teaching pedagogy and builds strong relationships with his scholars. Moreover, he commands respect because of his class culture and classroom management. In particular, his students rave about his engaging lessons, such as dissecting sheep brains or how to conduct yourself at an interview.’
Mr. Clark is very active at Ranson outside of the classroom. He is the Ranson Faculty Advisor Chair and was an assistant coach on the undefeated football team. In addition, Mr. Clark is organizing a career fair for our scholars. He believes in the quote by Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Mr. Clark’s spirit and professionalism have positively impacted the Ranson family.
We salute Rodriques Clark and thank you for being a part of CTE!
