Mallard Creek High’s Academy of Engineering team is a national winner in the Lenovo Scholar Network’s APP Development Contest for the second year in a row. Students are challenged during this competition to use their creative, technical, and problem-solving skills and MITs APP inventor to conceive, design, and build APPS that serve classrooms and communities. The Mallard Creek team created an APP called “Crypto Shake 2.0” that creates high safety passwords and stores them in a Password Manager of choice. Users simply “shake” their smartphones to obtain randomized passwords. WBT interviewed two of the team leaders about their achievements. Dr. Davidson, an engineering instructor at Mallard Creek High school served as the team’s advisor. Great Job, Mallard Creek AOE team!
