PLTW teacher, Niva Hawkins find happiness at Marie G. Davis. She sees that happiness inside her classroom and within her students. For CTE month, Ms. Hawkins has chosen to spotlight one of her shining stars, Juan Junior Mendez Murillo! She has this to say about Juan: ‘I am nominating Juan because he is an exceptional student. He comes to class everyday, prepared to work. He also excels in all of his assignments. As a new teacher to CMS, Juan has given me the confidence that I am doing a good job teaching and scaffolding the computer science lessons. He conveyed what I was teaching in his work.’
