The Career and Technical Education (CTE) program touches over 50,000 middle and high students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. There are 23 pathways that are aligned to careers and help foster students’ passion before high school graduation. These pathways link to employment opportunities in Mecklenburg County for students during high school and beyond. CTE prepares students for the transition after high school to employment or post-secondary education. The CTE Fair provides an opportunity for students and families to explore the many ways students can discover their passions in middle and high school through CTE pathways and meet employers who have job opportunities.
