2024 GCADA Auto Tech Competition & Career Fair: Here’s to Providence HS!

Sponsored by the Carolina Ford Dealers, GCADA hosted over 250 Charlotte area students for the second Auto Tech Competition & Career Fair on March 27th at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. In partnership with regional franchised auto dealerships, students were educated on the automotive industry to address the continual need to attract talented workforce. Prior to the competition, local auto dealers partnered with regional high schools to mentor and train students. The competition was led by the ASE Education Foundation and involved many volunteers including OEM partners (Volkswagen, Ford, Nissan, SE Toyota, KIA, and Subaru), Central Piedmont Community College, ALLDATA, and NADA.
We are very proud of our team from Providence HS, led by instructor, Chad Rorie. His team had a second place finish and was mentored by Keffer CDJR. We celebrate you all! Congratulations!
