Imagine being a CTE teacher in multiple languages. Dorthea Wade is that teacher for the students at Collinswood. Ms. Wade teaches multiple courses at Collinswood and her principal, Dina Modine, had this to say, ‘Ms. Wade is a caring teacher who is knowledgeable about the content she teaches. Ms. Wade carefully builds relationships with her students and holds them accountable for not only completing tasks, but also ensuring the quality of the work is exceptional. Ms. Wade is conscientious about completing required tasks related to her role as CTE teacher, ensuring that she attends professional learning opportunities and meets compliance deadlines. When she is not teaching, she is in the hallways during transitions to ensure student safety. She is also our school photographer and leads production of our school yearbook. At Collinswood, everyone knows Ms. Wade!’.
